Curious to hear everyone's opinion on their favorite 2D (sidescroller, fighter, etc - not necessarily 2D drawn characters just something that is 2D in movement).    'While Baldurs Gate 2 is one of the greatest games of all time, I do not think it qualifies as a side scrolling game. When I went to go play the game off this recommendation I was surprised by what I saw. The game could not be a side scrolling game since it was not 2D, it was a top down game. While I enjoyed the game the solution does not give a good answer.'

Instead of only being able to play these types of games at home, I can do it on my phone in the dentist office. And it is super addictive - in a good way.    'My nephew loves minecraft! And it does seem like a good game for just about all ages. There is not a lot of violence, language or gore that parents have to deal with in R rated games. However, I believe that the best side scrolling game is definitely one of the Mario Brothers series. Any one. Take your pick. They are classics. I remember playing them for hours and hours when I was a little girl. They are simple and pleasing.'

    'I have an android device and was looking for some games on google play and by luck I found Pixel Dungeon. Pixel Dungeon is one of the best mobile games I have played.     'Leo's fortune looks like an amazing game that I'd love to try! The graphics and colors are out of this world and look completely developed. I wouldn't expect any sort of bugs or interface issues with a game of this quality. Is it the best out of all of them? It very well could be. It looks like it has a great story line and could engage adults just as easily as children. The controls look to be well done and have different difficulties/challenges you'd have to overcome to make this a game you'd want to keep learning vs. it being too easy and being shoved off. '
